Welcome to Washington’s newly updated on-line searchable database for all cultural resources in the State. The Washington Information System for Architectural and Archaeological Records Data (WISAARD), allows users to search for listed properties via a map or a text query. The information available for over 1800 registered historical sites includes images of the property, a short summary description about the significance of each resource and a link to the nomination document as a PDF file. Archeological sites that are National Register listed, are limited in their information that is provided to prevent looting and vandalism.
The database was funded by a grant from the U.S. Federal Highway Administration. DISCLAIMER This digital data, (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "information"), are provided on an "AS IS", "AS AVAILABLE" and "WITH ALL FAULTS" basis. Neither the Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) nor any of its officials and employees makes any warranty of any kind for this information, express or implied, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, nor shall the distribution of this information constitute any warranty.
